Sandy Gageiro

I started with school radio, then pirate and university radio (RUC – Rádio Universidade de Coimbra). First it was the music that took me to the microphones, then news and stories. I worked for Rádio Paris-Lisboa, I was a journalist for local newspapers, I was part of the team at Rádio Expo, TSF and TSFOnline. I published texts in several publications. I tried television with the program Câmara Clara on RTP 2. I was a correspondent for the radio program Monocle 24. Over the years, the desire to work with sounds and stories in different ways led me to join the founding team of Terra do Som – Mostra Internacional de Rádio  (international radio show) and Poesia.fm. Today I hold radio workshops and reading clubs for children and young people, but I like to work with all ages. I have been a member of the newsrooms of Antena 1 and Antena 2 for two decades and I am responsible for the Lilliput section (on children's books) at Antena 2.
