Collaborations

It is a privilege to meet professionals and projects with whom we relate and with whom we are invited to collaborate. Some aimed at sound and listening, others at media literacy and others at journalism.

Lisbon Architecture Triennale

In 2023, I collaborated with the Lisbon Architecture Triennale. During three sessions, a team worked with me on the various possibilities of sounds and texts in the magical environment of the Sinel de Cordes Palace, the headquarters of the Triennale.

Poesia.fm

This digital radio is another way of telling and listening to the world: a platform for short, medium, and long-term sound creations and pieces. Podcasts of readings, conversations, documentaries, performances, songs, or radio books – each listener listens how and wherethey want, whenever they want to be “on air”. For example, in a darkened room, such as in a cinema or theatre. Or simply with your eyes closed.

Especificalistas

Especificalistas - Specific Critical Action Group is a project by Lugar Específico, which brings together groups of children and young people interested in discovering what it means to do art criticism, through contact with the most diverse cultural and artistic objects, as well as the its stakeholders (technical team, artists, curators, among others) to then make a critique, together, in podcast format.

Monocle

Between 2012 and 2014 I developed journalistic work as a correspondent, in Lisbon, for Radio Monocle 24, of the British magazine Monocle. The works were essentially of a cultural and social nature.

In the Dark

In The Dark is an association was born in London since 2010, dedicated to disseminating innovative audio documentaries, and which regularly organizes audio listening sessions in the dark in public spaces. In 2018, Sofia Saldanha (1975-2022) created In The Dark Lisboa. I had the honor of collaborating and choosing some pieces and being invited to curate a session dedicated to illustration and comics at  Tinta nos Nervos bookshop.

Land of Sound

In 2014, I collaborated with Boca (a small publisher)  in the production of “Terra do Som – Mostra Internacional de Rádio”: for three days, in a room at Cinema São Jorge, in Lisbon, we listened to and debated reports, documentaries and other radio creations, to give to the radio scene more and new landscapes, languages, dialogues, sounds and silences – echoes of the world.

This is a section of Rádio ZigZag (a web radio made for children from 5 to 9 years old) of education for the media, which aims to help deconstruct current affairs for the youngest.
